What is desk research?

Desk research (secondary research) is the collection, synthesizing and summarizing of data through open resources, in the process statistical, empirical and realist review techniques are used to gather and analyze the data and create desk research report with relevant information and summary. Desk research can be used to gather information about market trend and other research or sometimes in the preliminary stages of research to create an informed research designs to carry out the primary research with already bench-marked index for the companies.

We operate with the following cost models:

Hourly Model: If you have intermittent short-term projects with indefinite time requirements, then you may want to buy a prepaid block of hours to use when you need them. The hourly rate starts at only 120,- dkk (Junior – large task) to 195,- dkk (Senior – small task) all included (except 25% Danish VAT).

Fixed Price Model: For well-defined projects with specific beginning and ending dates, we can quote and agree on a fixed price.

Retainer Model: If your need for assistance is less predictable, but you need help for a specific number of hours each month, we provide a dedicated assistant to work with you on a one-to-one basis for a regular hourly fee.


Information security and GDPR

Exsecutivis are working actively with risk management as a cornerstone in our work with IT and information security. We are working with a risk-based approach which is also the principle of ISO/IEC 27001 INFORMATION SECURITY MANAGEMENT that is widely known and providing requirements for an information security management system.

Based on a risk assessment, it is assessed whether the security is at an acceptable level or whether more safety measures should be implemented.

We have assessed the risk of working with IBC to the score 5 and below (on a scale to 25). A low risk of 5 or less can immediately be accepted by Exsecutivis management without additional actions. An ISO 27001:2013 certification at IBC is a contributing cause for the low risk.


More then 90% of the work done by IBC is done on external data without any kind of personal information.

Personal information like name and email is only exchanged between customer and Exsecutivis and treated in accordance with our Data Privacy Policy. Exchanged of customer information between Exsecutivis and IBC will always be anonymous.

In the case transfer of personal data is needed to fulfill a contract (e.g. cleaning up CRM data) a transfer to a third country will only take place after an NDA (non disclosure agreement) has been signed and the registered person has given his express consent to the transfer.
